Vigorously promote the construction of national and provincial enterprise technology centers, engineering research centers, key laboratories and other scientific research platforms, effectively promote the aggregation of innovative elements, key technology research and development of intelligent construction, and the research and development of intelligent construction equipment.
Vigorously develop intelligent construction equipment. In recent years, based on the expanding scale of the intelligent manufacturing equipment industry, Hubei Province has focused on solving practical engineering problems and developed more than 10 types of intelligent robots, including steel bar bending robots, concrete automatic vibration and transmission robots, measurement robots, and track leveling robots; We have developed a series of intelligent engineering equipment, including prefabricated building machines, high-speed rail overhead contact systems, the 40 meter box girder transport and erection integrated machine "Kunlun", and intelligent vibration vehicles. In terms of application effectiveness, the prefabricated building machine and the single tower multi cage circular operation construction "circular elevator" have achieved data-driven intelligent lifting of components, solving the problem of vertical transportation of kilometer level building construction elevators; The "Kunlun" intelligent carrier and carrier integrated machine applies technologies such as the Internet of Things, Beidou positioning, mobile Internet, visual recognition, big data, laser array scanning, and has functions such as automatic perception of the operating environment, virtual scene construction, and intelligent auxiliary driving, which improves the accuracy of beam falling, and realizes automatic driving in the tunnel and monitoring of the construction process.

Seize the new highland of intelligent construction industry
Seize the opportunity of transformation, focus on the goal of expanding and strengthening the construction industry in Hubei Province, take the construction of intelligent construction pilot cities as the starting point, systematically sort out the advantages and disadvantages of the upstream, midstream, and downstream of the industrial chain, and make targeted efforts to enhance strengths and compensate for weaknesses, promoting the accelerated development of the intelligent construction industry.
Build an intelligent construction supply chain platform. In May 2024, the Hubei Province Intelligent Construction Supply Chain Platform was officially launched, bringing together categories such as intelligent equipment, parts and components, and green building materials. It is supported by service support systems such as information platforms, logistics networks, and financial products, and vigorously promotes the interconnection of the entire construction industry chain upstream and downstream. As of now, the platform has settled in 908 enterprises and launched 7661 products and services.
Build an intelligent construction industrial park. Support the cooperation between the Ezhou Municipal Government and China Construction Third Engineering Bureau to build the China Construction Intelligent Construction Industrial Park, focusing on emerging industries such as new materials, new equipment, and new industrial software, and promoting the deep integration of innovation chain, industrial chain, and capital chain. The planned area of the first phase of the industrial park is 13600 square meters, attracting 9 enterprises, including digital service enterprises, intelligent equipment enterprises, green building materials enterprises, etc.
Develop pilot projects for intelligent construction. In 2023, 33 pilot enterprises and 53 pilot projects were selected in Wuhan, Xiangyang, and Yichang, and a number of application scenarios for promotion were summarized and formed. The pilot project has achieved BIM based design optimization, engineering quantity calculation, construction process traceability management, and digital delivery of completion archives in digital design; In terms of intelligent production, data-driven collaborative production of production lines has been achieved; In terms of intelligent construction, an information-based safety control system has been established based on real-time data, including equipment status monitoring, construction quality and safety monitoring, and dynamic evaluation of work efficiency; In terms of intelligent operation and maintenance, BIM, GIS (Geographic Information System), IOT (Internet of Things) and other technologies are applied to integrate tens of thousands of sensing devices, seamlessly connecting buildings, people, and equipment. In June 2024, the Department of Housing and Urban Rural Development of Hubei Province summarized the pilot results and released the "List of Typical Achievements of Intelligent Construction in Hubei Province (First Batch)".
