The global construction robot market output value will double by 2030
  Robot technology in the construction industry is on the rise, and new market research shows that as contractors seek new technologies to address safety and labor shortages, the market value of construction robots will significantly increase.
  According to data from Straits Research, the global construction robot market output value in 2021 was $50 million, with an annual comprehensive growth rate of 14%. As more and more people from around the world migrate to cities, the demand for infrastructure, transportation services, and housing will drive the development of the construction industry. The full workload has forced construction employers to use robots to fill the labor gap. The organization predicts that the construction robot market in the United States will reach $54 million by 2030, Europe will reach $52 million, and the global construction robot market is expected to be worth $164 million. The United States and Europe will be the largest regions in the world to adopt this technology. At present, the actual usage of robots is greater in the European market than in the US market. The European market has 1.2 robots per 10000 construction workers, while the US market only has 0.2 robots per 10000 construction workers.
  According to this study, the main development participants of construction robots include Apis Cor, a 3D printer headquartered in Florida, and Dusty Robotics, a company based in Mountain View, California. The latter's main product is a planning robot that uses autonomous technology to simplify the usually cumbersome and time-consuming planning process.
  Other major participants include Husqvarna, a machine development company headquartered in Stockholm, and COBOD, a 3D printing company headquartered in Copenhagen, which recently received investment from international venture capital firm CEMEX Ventures, a subsidiary of building materials giant CEMEX.
  From some perspectives, although the application of construction robots has been developing slowly, experts have prepared for large-scale production of this technology, predicting that robot technology will be produced on a large scale in the next 20 years, or even as short as 5 years.
