On April 2, 2025, Zou Guanfei, Deputy Director of the Science and Technology Bureau of Nanhai District, Foshan City, Wei Junjing, Secretary-General of the Association for Science and Technology, Pang Wanyi, a staff member of the High-tech Division, An Dongyao, Director of the Nanhai Productivity Promotion Center, and Wang Ruiwen, a staff member, visited Foshan Orcas Robot Co., LTD. (hereinafter referred to as "Orcas") to conduct an inspection and research.



▶ Focus on product technology leadership

As soon as the leaders arrived in Orcas, they quickly threw themselves into the inspection work. Accompanied by Zhou Xianhua, the president of Orcas, the leaders focused their attention on the Hero 900 and Pioneer 860, two floor grinding robots independently developed and designed by Orcas.



The Hero 900 is equipped with a high-precision 3D lidar that can perform real-time scanning and precise modeling of the working environment. Relying on a series of advanced devices, the Hero 900 can achieve fully automatic navigation operations. At the same time, it is equipped with an efficient automatic dust collection and suction system, which can quickly adsorb the dust generated during grinding during operation, maintaining the cleanliness of the construction site.



The Pioneer 860 is equipped with the world's first stepless adjustment technology for grinding and pressing. It can precisely control the grinding speed during operation based on the hardness, flatness of different ground materials and specific construction requirements. Meanwhile, it adopts an advanced lithium battery power supply system, which has strong endurance, breaks free from the constraints of traditional power cords, and greatly enhances the convenience of equipment relocation.
