Recently, Orcas Robot was honoured to receive a delegation of more than ten people from the Hong Kong Construction Industry Council and a number of well-known construction companies. The delegation visited the construction site and learnt about the practical application of two floor grinding robots.
Orcas Robot firstly showed the delegation the first stepless grinding pressure function of ‘Pioneer 860’ floor grinding robot in detail. Through the precise stepless grinding pressure adjustment system, ‘Pioneer 860’ can adjust the grinding pressure within the range of 262kg to 428kg. It is worth mentioning that when the grinding pressure is adjusted to the minimum value, the robot can be easily pried with one hand, which greatly facilitates the replacement of grinding discs and demonstrates its significant advantages in improving construction efficiency and flexibility.
Subsequently, the automated operation process of ‘Hero 900’ attracted the delegation's wide attention. Under the automatic operation mode, the grinding robot does not require manual operation and carries out grinding work autonomously according to the preset path. The real-time correction by LIDAR ensures that the grinding process is carried out along a straight line, avoiding excessive or missed grinding, achieving a high degree of consistency in operation, and significantly improving the grinding efficiency.

During the exchange meeting, the delegation gained an in-depth understanding of the innovative technology and application prospects of Orcas Robot products. Mr Zhou Xianhua, President of Orcas Robot, extended a warm welcome to the guests and looked forward to establishing closer cooperation with all parties. The delegation expressed their hope that Orcas's floor grinding robots can enter the Hong Kong market as soon as possible and jointly promote intelligent construction to a new stage of development.
