Orcas Robot won an award at the 2nd Construction Robot Competition
On December 3, 2024, the second "China Construction · Enjoy the Future" Building Robot Competition kicked off at the Huxi Campus of Chongqing University. This event is hosted by the Chongqing Municipal Commission of Housing and Urban Rural Development and the Sichuan Provincial Department of Housing and Urban Rural Development. Following the principle of "competition, exhibition, and conference", it comprehensively showcases the new strength of Chinese construction.
The competition has set up three categories: creative design, practical competition, and performance performance, attracting 122 product works from 104 teams from 19 provinces and cities across the country. Among them, the Oka robot stood out with outstanding performance and won the "Innovation Star" award in the field of application performance competition.
At the event, the floor grinding robot Hero 900 exhibited by Orcas Robot became the focus of attention, attracting not only many domestic audiences to stop and watch, but also strong interest and attention from overseas audiences.
This event actively responded to General Secretary Xi Jinping's call for "Made in China, Created in China, and Built in China to work together", and played an important role in accelerating the construction of the Chengdu Chongqing dual city economic circle and developing new quality productivity in the field of housing and construction.
